  • Thank you Holly Grove Elementary School for inviting us to their annual Memorial Day event. This was a special event to honor our fallen services members and also honor our veterans. Programming included the Holly Grove Middle School band, chorus, and speakers. It was a beautiful display of honor and respect for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. 🇺🇸

  • We are proud to share the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce's ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders in our community. In 2023, our Executive Director, Tonya Palumbo, partnered with Mayor Sean Mayefskie and Mr. Percy Woods, leader of the Holly Springs Entrepreneurship Club, to launch a series of initiatives aimed at engaging with local schools and preparing students for their future careers. The 2023/2024 Entrepreneurship Club was led by Kingston Davis, a junior at Holly Springs High School. The club meets twice per month and has become a dynamic forum where students explore the world of entrepreneurship, engage in meaningful conversations, and gain valuable insights from local business leaders. These sessions are designed to inspire and equip our young people with the knowledge and skills needed for their next chapter, whether that be further education, starting their own business, or entering the workforce. Today, we concluded the final meeting of 2024, marking the end of a successful school year. We are incredibly proud of the students' enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment, and we look forward to continuing our support for their entrepreneurial journeys in the upcoming school year. Together, we are shaping a bright future for Holly Springs! #FutureLeaders #Entrepreneurship #HollySpringsChamber #InvestInYouth #WorkforceDevelopment

  • It was an honor to recognize another educator making a difference in our community. This month we visited Apex Friendship High School which supports students from Holly Springs and Apex. Congratulations Mr. Paul Rowe of Apex Friendship High School on being this month's Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Month, Sponsored by Sylvan Learning. Mr. Rowe is a one-of-a-kind magic maker! His dedication to the band program and to his students is unmatched. No matter how many hours or events are included in his week, Mr. Rowe always finds joy in his work and creates an experience for students that quite simply makes them more than they once were and ready for any next opportunity that comes their way. We appreciate Mr. Rowe and are thankful for his leadership in the Patriots Family! Wake County Public School System

  • Our Chamber is proud to support and advocate with our elected officials for updates to our Holly Springs post office. Thanks to Mayor Sean Mayefskie for shining a light on this important issue. The support from Representative Julie von Haefen, Wake County Commissioner Matt Calabria and Congressman Wiley Nickel for advocating for this measure demonstrates the mutual understanding for changes. In today's fast-paced world, businesses rely heavily on efficient mail handling for their operations. Whether it's sending out invoices, receiving payments and important documents, or shipping products to customers, a reliable postal service is the lifeblood of commerce. However, our current post office struggles to keep up with the demands of modern business, leading to delays, errors, and frustrations for both businesses and customers alike.   A well-equipped post office streamlines mail operations and provides essential services to our community. From passport applications to package pickups, many residents and businesses rely on these services for their day-to-day needs. By investing in upgrades, we can improve customer service, reduce wait times, and ensure that everyone receives the assistance they require in a timely manner.   A vibrant postal service drives economic growth and prosperity. A modernized post office will attract businesses to our area, stimulate local commerce, and contribute to the overall vitality of our community. By investing in our postal infrastructure, we are investing in the future success of Holly Springs and laying the foundation for continued growth and prosperity. Chamber board members in attendance included Chris Edwards , Mark Campbell and Kerry Grace Heckle.
